About

The Game Gear (Japan 1990, elsewhere 1991) was Sega's answer to the Game Boy: a handheld with a backlit colour screen. Inside it is close to the Master System, so many of its games are Master System conversions; six AA batteries lasted a few hours.

Its games include Sonic the Hedgehog, Shinobi, Columns and Defenders of Oasis.
